Right to Life Groups Call for Investigation of Preterm

Right to life groups are calling on state officials to shut down Preterm, a Cleveland abortion clinic, following the recent death of a young woman, who was taken from the facility via ambulance to a hospital. No cause of death ruling had been made by the Cuyahoga County medical examiner as of the time of this interview with Mike Gonidakis, President of Ohio Right to Life .

Cleveland Right to Life is bringing 16 speakers to the Bringing America Back to Life Symposium and Exhibition March 7 & 8 to the Embassy Suites in Independence.

Molly Smith, President of Cleveland Right to Life says the Right-to-Life movement has gone back to first principles, emphasizing that all life is sacred, from conception until natural death...even in the case of rape and incest.  And she says politicians have been increasingly buying into that point-of-view.

Among the speakers at this year's event is Tim Tebow's mom Pam.

Komen Cancels Cleveland 3 Day Walk, After This Year

The Susan G Komen 3 Day event, which raises money by having participants pledge $2,500 and walking 60 miles over a three-day period, is being canceled in Cleveland and six other cities after this year's event.

At least one Right to Life chapter believes the cancellation is due to a drop in participation because of Komen's funding ties to Planned Parenthood.

Jim spoke with Sean Shacklett, the Executive Director of Susan G. Komen, Northeast Ohio Affiliate, prior to the announcement.  Shacklett talked about this year's 3 Day event, and the Race for the Cure, which will be held in September in Cleveland.
