Tracking Down WWI Veterans Was No Easy Feat

This book contains interviews with dozens of veterans of World War I.  All were older than 100 at the time author Richard Rubin tracked them down and talked to them.  None are with us anymore.

These veterans tell personal stories about their experiences on the battlefield almost 100 years ago, and away from the war, when America was changing, becoming a superpower thanks in large part to the efforts of the Doughboys.

Why were they called Doughboys?  It's the last question Jim asks author Richard Rubin in this interview.
